 The Pokémon franchise (Hindi: पोकेमोन, Tamil: போகிமொன், Telegu: పోకీమాన్, Urdu: پوکيمون) made its debut in the Indian subcontinent in 2003, with the broadcast of the first anime episode in both English and Hindi on Cartoon Network India, after which it was moved to several channels. Since 2016, it has aired on Marvel HQ (formerly known as Disney XD India). In Pakistan, the anime aired on Cartoon Network Pakistan. Currently, Pokémon is broadcast on Marvel HQ, Hungama TV, and Pop.
